Design Direction
For this process, I was trying to figure out what could best relate to the typical “college” student. Technology is an idea, or showing the process of what one has to do to cast their voting ballet. Essentially, the idea that stuck out the most was something attention grabbing.

4. Animation Second Pass
Selected Design
The selection chosen was my idea around the slogan “Your Voice Matters”. It serves as a call to action for students to let their voices be heard. I also wanted to show diversity among students because the right to vote caters to all people.
Revisions
One thing I need to fix from my first mockup, is how I can make it more eye-grabbing when a viewer scrolls through their Instagram timeline. Adjusting the composition to be more close up and the addition of a chain was the solution.

3. Animation First Pass
Loop 1 Process
For this animation, I wanted to stay related to the collage style that I created and went for a posturize time effect to give the animation a more stop motion type of feel.
After discussing with my Art director, the addition of the chain was necessary, but the removal of the duct tape from the first rendition didn’t coincide with the “Your Voice Matters” slogan so the next plan was to bring it back. Also, increasing the size of the text was suggested as well.
Set of Looping Animations
After creating my first pass of animation and my final design for my selected design approach, it was time to create the whole set of 3.
The animation was near complete, just have to think about music syncing to the animation.
Everything was working, just had to think of an alternative way for the piece to loop.
Big thing to change for this animation was the motion of the female, and the animation for the chat box.
